Now mom knows the good news, I've got my face displayed in such huge poster that I made it into Canada. Still framed in that analog film setting, the tiff memories feel like they’ve just begun. And this, I think, is something I’ll hold onto eternally.

A few next steps in between the Criterion Closets, a dreamy drift through grainy frames, and the film leaks in the buzz of Toronto. I smile when promotion turns into short of an escape. From music discs to movie classics, my own little Cinema Paradiso rendezvous.

@qpnsiri You're very welcome! Sinners and Alien: Romulus were really good this year, they are totally different kinds of horror, but both got under my skin in their own way. Have you watched it?

Repost is greatly appreciated as I’m currently starting anew in lonesomeness. I go by the name Hong Kyung. I do love acting and just gave you ten movies to get to know me. Care to discuss? Or perhaps ten things I’d like about you? Though, I’m open anything, what do you think?

@gomiinshii Hi noona! glad you finally caught up. Gone Girl does have that effect, doesn’t it? I stand with Amy, that monologue scene alone deserved an Oscar. The delivery, and everything was brilliant. Feels good to finally have someone who gets the obsession. What part got you the most?

@munkayoong Hey KY-ssi, good to see you here and I'd say, Good News is honestly worth the watch as it’s got that mix of chaos, humor, and weird sincerity that keeps things interesting. Plus, I’m in it, so that’s a pretty solid reason too, right? 😁

@AMGAWON Ah, Amélie! I’ve been meaning to watch that one. I’ve heard so many good things about how it. Maybe you can tell me what you liked most about it? And sure, I’d be glad to be friends, Gawon.

@xsoheehan Hi Sohee noona, thank you for watching Good News. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it. As for what’s next, I’ve been drawn to something softer lately, maybe a love affair, or a romantic melodrama. Feels like a nice change of pace. What about you, any project you’re working on?

@renebaebhae Nice to meet you Nonna-Hyung, haha! It’s revolutionary in my heart, somehow still so relatable. The way it romanticizes the simplicity of life feels beautiful and grounding. Ghibli always has that quiet way of touching people, doesn’t it? Do you have another favorite from them?

@Suzyouth I don't want to be angsty here, but the last part you mentioned made me think about how we never really know what’s worth having until we’ve had it. By then, it’s already a part of us, and maybe that’s why letting go isn’t as simple as we wish. Do you ever feel the same?

@baijingtim Nice to meet you, Bai. The genres you mentioned fit perfectly with my latest project, Good News, minus the thriller part, perhaps. Still, it has enough tension and wit to keep you hooked. I’d say give it a watch, you might find it worth the time. What about your recomendations?

@zihyuyo One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and From Up on Poppy Hill. Both speak about making life better and bringing freedom and happiness in our own way, by being a little rebellious, yet still managing to stay kind, even charming. So, what’s the one thing you’d want me to like about you?
