Columbia administration is issuing new waves of suspensions to anyone that attempts to pick up their confiscated belongings. Many students including myself have laptops, medication, devices, and much more among these belongings. This is getting cartoonishly evil.
@bluepashminas I guess you found out. This is likely a better lesson than anything you learned in school.
@bluepashminas i found it pretty easy to copy a columbia university id to finish courses when i wasn’t allowed on campus because they mistakenly (including the nypd!) decided i may be a terrorist in 2001, by listening into my private phone calls.
@bluepashminas @Columbia I don’t think you have the legal right to detain personal belongings of others. Their rights are protected. Do you want to be sued?
@bluepashminas @mfsgottenshook There are clear and direct consequences for your actions. The world doesn’t operate to accommodate YOU. You live in a society with rules and laws & when you break these social contracts there are consequences. You are not special. Put on your big girl pants.
@bluepashminas This is insane. I am at a loss. I'm sorry you're dealing with this and hoping you are able to get your things.
