If you ever rewatch the Wii U reveal trailer again.... holy balls it's bad. It doesn't even make clear it's a new console, instead constantly saying "new controller" constantly, whilst showing games that visually look like Wii games. They fumbled out the gate.
Why do people complain about the Koopalings being in Mario games? I actually prefer that they're in them. Also anytime Nintendo tries to replace them with something else it's always far worse like those ugly rabbit things in Odyssey or Bowser jr on repeat in Wonder.

It's quite unusual for a Nintendo 1st Party game to leak like this from the ESRB. Nintendo is usually really good about announcing games beforehand. A trailer is probably imminent.

If you ever rewatch the Wii U reveal trailer again.... holy balls it's bad. It doesn't even make clear it's a new console, instead constantly saying "new controller" constantly, whilst showing games that visually look like Wii games. They fumbled out the gate.
Why do people complain about the Koopalings being in Mario games? I actually prefer that they're in them. Also anytime Nintendo tries to replace them with something else it's always far worse like those ugly rabbit things in Odyssey or Bowser jr on repeat in Wonder.

@jiggylookback Knowing the history of this game and knowing that General Scales was always meant to get sidelined, im fine with Andross being the final boss. We should have at least gotten a proper boss fight with Scales though.
@jiggylookback I'd have preferred both, Andross makes sense given it's Starfox but robbing the player of the chance to fight the bad guy you've been after all game first isn't a good thing. Lacks catharsis. Other games have pulled the same bait n switch and I'm never fond of it.

@jiggylookback I would have preferred Scales, but from what I have read of the Dinosaur Adventures leaks, the OG plan still had a villain swap. Drakor was the true villain (who was reused as the third boss) but I bet with more time they would had given Scales a true fight.
@jiggylookback I’m still salty that they built up General Scales as this very powerful individual who would be a fierce combatant and difficult boss fight, just to not fight him at all. But I am also glad that Andross is there, because it gave us the most hilarious death animation of all time:
@jiggylookback Frankly I prefer Drakor as main villain instead and Scales just as a secondary antagonist. It's not that I didn't like Andross as a twist-villain...I think it had a bad execution, could've been better.
