2003 - Op TELIC, went on Christmas leave being told the we would definitely not be deploying. Returned on January 4th to be told we had 3 weeks to achieve IOC & FOC! Deployed in late January with 16 Brigade. Awarded an MBE ON the Operation honours list in November, what a year 😂
