They hate beauty. They hate Christianity. They hate every Western value that built European civilization. They were never here to join it, it was always to conquer. These are third worldists, radical Islamists, and the leftists who import and enable them, people with no attachment to the West they’re overrunning. Our European ancestors were getting cut in half with swords and axes to secure this inheritance for us. They would look at what we’ve done with it, open borders, cultural surrender, entire cities treated as disposable and see cowards who handed their civilization to people who despise it. Our heritage means nothing to them.

Today is Columbus Day, not “Indigenous Peoples’ Day.” Christopher Columbus was one of the most consequential men who ever lived. He sailed into the unknown, opened the Americas to Western civilization, Christianity, and everything that followed, and in the process he did more to shape the world you live in than every one of his modern critics put together times a thousand. The people who spend this holiday calling him a genocidal monster are historically illiterate, ungrateful, and pathetic. They live in a society of unprecedented wealth, technology, rights, and comfort, all of which exist because Europeans arrived, not in spite of it, all while complaining about the men who made it possible. They apply their selective morality to 15th-century explorers that they never apply to the actual tribal societies of the Americas, many of which practiced slavery, warfare, ritual sacrifice, and cannibalism long before any European set foot here. Columbus didn’t invent violence or conquest. He brought a higher civilization that eventually produced the freest and most prosperous society in human history. That’s why he gets a holiday. The self-loathing losers babbling about “decolonization” get nothing but contempt. Happy Columbus Day.

The Islamic riots in France have now spread to Belgium. Masked youths are fighting police, setting fires, and smashing buses in the streets of Brussels. The capital of the European Union. This is what open borders built. Roughly 9 in 10 people under 18 in Brussels have a foreign background. A huge share are Muslim. Officials won’t even count religion. Only 1 in 5 people even have two Belgian parents. Europe did this to itself. Mass migration. No assimilation. No border. Now the EU’s own capital looks like a war zone. America, pay attention. This is the warning. Close the border and deport. Assimilate or leave.

The exact kind of speech I expect from a future President. Inject this straight into my veins. To those who decry "nationalism" — just stop it. The gig is up and the United States has made its choice. We choose the unapologetic pursuit of national power. The American liberal experiment that has devolved into a glorified egalitarian utopia will not stand against the natural and powerful phenomenon of ethnonationalism. It is a double-edged sword that promotes ultimate societal cohesion and optimal potential prosperity for particular people groups, but also rips societies apart through political multiculturalism. People seek the interests of their own people, regardless of the piece of paper that makes them citizens. This is an inescapable inevitability. Just as Pat Buchanan tells us in Suicide of a Superpower: “We may deny the existence of ethnonationalism, detest it, condemn it. But this creator and destroyer of empires and nations is a force infinitely more powerful than globalism, for it engages the heart. Men will die for it. The very heart of France is descending into a state of anarchy with huge levels of violence and disorder from pro-Palestinian terrorists. The nightmare vision of our future has reached Europe. If the far-left socialists and Islamists gain power in America, this is exactly what will happen.

There is a cultural and political earthquake happening in South America right now. Latin American countries have shifted to the right by an average of 23 points in elections since Trump dismantled USAID. If Brazil flips away from the communists and the regime in Cuba is toppled you will be witnessing the complete and total remaking of South America as a nationalist and populist continent.
