@Festival_Hydro The "all responses" part is the one that bites people. One missing utility on the ticket and the whole plan is off.
@SVSGUtilities Good locators save drillers more trouble than anybody gets credit for. Clear marks make planning the bore a lot easier.
@GoodRoads Glad to see road folks learning trenchless. Crews go a lot smoother when the people writing the permit know what a bore actually needs.
@PA_PUC Good to see facility owners and project owners on that list too, not just excavators. Accurate marks and a fair schedule prevent as many hits as the crew does.

@neohionews From the drill side, asking for real drawings before a bore isn't a burden. Marks, potholed crossings and a plan on paper is how it should be done anyway.

@neohionews Full drawings up front is fair after Twinsburg. Most small crews never had a clean way to put one together. Shot depths, crossings and entry/exit pins on one page should be the floor.
@UDigNY Glad to see these keep going. Locators and drillers in the same room usually fixes more problems than a year of emails.
@DWAlabama Getting the numbers to the operator instead of yelling them across the yard saves more steering mistakes than people think.
@Kansas811 From the drill side, the ticket is the cheapest part of the job. Marks first, pothole the crossings, then drill.
@CleanerMagazine One truck to 17 people is a real climb in this trade. Pairing HDD with hydrovac makes sense since you're potholing the crossings anyway. Running a small boring outfit myself, and the paperwork side is why I built boresheet.com.
