“Hindi lang sila basta naglalaglagan, gusto nila magulo ang kwento. Gusto nila lituhin tayo. Gusto nila na di na natin malalaman ang totoo.” — Mayor Vico Sotto Watch the livestream of the Lower House’s tricomm hearing on flood control projects: youtube.com/live/qc-3oe0I1…
Just bumping this up. MAKE CORRUPTION SHAMEFUL AGAIN. —Cardinal David, Karen Davila, Mayor Vico, Atty. Leila, et al.
A year ago I applied for promotion to manager level. There was good feedback but at the end of the day my lack if experience showed and they went with an internal candidate who had so much experience under his belt. Understandable. So even if i was very disappointed….
….handle that team because I feel like that would mean stepping up and could help me gain the experience I need. Lo and behold I wasnt chosen again. Such a long rant, I know. Or maybe Im just not good enough.
… while my colleagues would be assigned POC when he’s away. One was even taught to do a specific OM task and I’ve been with the company for 2 years and yet this was never shared to me. Just this week, a TL handling a special team left, and again I expressed my intent to….
… I’ll do my part and support my new manager in every way I can, help the operations team leaders with whatever. 6 months after, I now feel as though I am “overlooked”. Might sound petty but for example everytime my manager would go on leave, I am never assigned any OM tasks…
… Part of me kept wondering though, was I even considered for that appointment? I mean they know my intent and desire to move up after all. And if I was shortlisted? Why was I not chosen? Of course I didnt have the courage to ask that to our boss. So I thought, I’ll stay….
… about 2 weeks after his, a Team Leder was appointed as manager, this TL also applied last year with me. I have nothing against him and believe me I was genuinely happy for him, after all he was more tenured and had previously held the Assistant Manager role for a diff LOB…
… I stayed, and expressed my intent to my manager to be more exposed to managerial tasks that would help me prepare for future opportunities. Less than 6 mos after external manager was hired, he left the business, no clear announcement was made if they were replacing him…
