Laurentian elite? What Laurentian elite? A panel discussion about Alberta where no one lives or works west of Toronto. Can you imagine CBC holding a similar panel on Quebec without having anyone on from Quebec or even east of Regina? This is what $1.5 billion a year buys you.
@brianlilley So you’re good with the sovereignty act, which circumvents democratic processes
@brianlilley The logic behind Alberta's Sovereignty Act is to evade any responsibility for mitigating catastrophic climate change by denying the right of the federal government to legislate policies such as banning the burning of coal to produce electricity by 2030.
@brianlilley Doesn’t Quebec have some kind of Sovereignty Act? I would assume he would handle it the same way? No pipeline through Quebec, while oil drilling in Alberta that will deliver on railway and trucks to those who need oil! Electric Heat is too expensive and truly sucks!
@brianlilley guess you missed it earlier in the day they had THREE Westerner on CBC @brianlilley one from Alberta one from Sask one from B.C. Its host CBC David Cochrane lived in Alberta for a time as well x.com/brianlilley/st… c @kris_sims

@brianlilley @TariqElnaga This amuses me. What people who are retweeting this fail to acknowledge—out of ignorance or blind rage—is that this discussion is in fact about the consequences of a province's sovereignty. Are media folks outside of Alberta not allowed to discuss Alberta sovereignty vs Canada?
@brianlilley The discussion is about Ottawa and the Federal response. Not about Alberta. Try to be a little tiny bit smart Brian.
@brianlilley And the same three people. Constantly. Are there no other Canadians who can handle being on a panel?
