Our Second Amendment Right is essential to our freedom and is not the problem. We've had our Second Amendment rights since 1791 and mass shootings have been a problem for 30 years.
@ACTBrigitte 1791 did not include bump stocks, ghost guns, or high-capacity clips. Amendments are called amendments because the Constitution was designed to be amended and we are way behind on amending. ranker.com/list/firearms-…
You're wrong. Pathetically wrong. And so is "RANKER" Here are the weapons that were available before, during and right after the American Revolution. Kalthoff Repeater (designed in 1630, used in wars by Denmark from 1657 - 1696) (30-60rpm) Lorenzoni repeater(about 1650) (30-60 RPM) Lagatz Rifle(1700) (18-20 rpm) Fafting Rifle (1774) (18-20 rpm) Belton flintlock (1777) (30-60 rpm) Girandoni Air Rifle (1779) (40 rpm) Cookson Repeater (1750) (30-60rpm) Harmonica Gun (1742) Nock Volley gun (1770) Ferguson Rifle (1770)(9 rpm) Chambers Flintlock Machine Gun (1792) (120 rpm) All the repeaters and the Girandoni air rifle had internal magazines so that they could fire multiple times. ALL Guns prior to the 30s were GHOST GUNS. Registration numbers on firearms is a relatively new concept. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are LIMITATIONS on the Government. Neither of the Documents grants us our RIGHTS. They are inherent. If Rights could be changed, they'd only be called privileges. The right to keep and bear arms exists DESPITE the Bill of Rights. NOT because of it. My right to self-defense overrides your feelings.
