@jeff_gluck This actually makes sense to me. I actually don’t have a favorite single driver but I do root for certain teams. I think this might be a product of team racing and manufacturer alliances over the last 10 or so years.

@STLCityFanVan FO put themselves in this situation. When you put yourself in desperate need of a striker, you’re going to have to overpay to get one

MLS ekibi St. Louis, Holse sonrası Türkiye'den bir oyuncu için daha çok istekli. Hafta bitene kadar bu isim düşer

Very disappointed to read that Corinthians decided not to honour our agreement in place to extend my contract for 2 more years. This renewal was explicitly agreed upon by the president as well as the sporting, legal and financial department. Some people decided however to breach

@MattBakerSTL @FlyoverFooty I just think it sets a really bad precedent going forward. There are a lot of people that deal with personal reasons at a job and have to figure it out. Now any player that claims personal reasons can feel justified in wanting a transfer for a low price.

@MattBakerSTL @stlCITYsc @Hannover96 Question, did CITY have to wait until Hartel was officially off the roster to start pursuing another DP player? Or could this be something they could have started behind the scenes before Hartel became official?

@Matthew15979845 @BallWatchingSTL @STL_ItalySG314 @stlCITYsc Nobody forced him to sign his contract. If he wasn’t confident in the club, he shouldn’t have signed it. Just to be clear though, I’m not mad at Hartel at all. I’m frustrated at the FO for consistently doing cheap/bad business. There were better options they could have done here

@BucketHatSC I can get behind the club making him stay for Open Cup and selling him in the winter for a low fee giving us a chance at a trophy, or sell him now for market value. We did neither…

@TaylorTwellman @stlCITYsc Doing right by the player is letting him leave if he finds a club willing/able to pay market value. All this is doing is telling players they can leave anytime for personal reasons, and showing other clubs that CITY can’t negotiate and can be taken advantage of.

@TaylorTwellman @stlCITYsc All these things that CITY do that people say “this will go along way towards future signings” just make the team worse. It seems like we’ve had an unreasonable amount of players that want to leave in the short history of the club.
