What maniac was like “yeah go ahead and just toss this in the elementary school library. They’ll love it.”
@brookswheelan always this one for me
@brookswheelan This book had me so shook that before bedtime I would put it back in my book bag face down and under all of my other books and then put the book bag in my parents car. 😂
@brookswheelan Designed a creature in my horror game based off of the art in these books!
@brookswheelan I did in fact love this book as a child.
@brookswheelan i still think about the la llorona one all the time
@brookswheelan Your kids aren't as fragile as you think they are.
@brookswheelan There was a story about a man sitting in the back seat trying to stab someone. I constantly check my backseats everytime I get in the car with my pocketknife at the ready. It’s a process but you can never be too safe.
@brookswheelan At least the illustration set the tone right upfront that this was nightmare fuel whereas ‘The Girl With The Green Ribbon’ story completely deceived you into thinking you were reading a cute love story only to pull the rug out from under you on the last page!!
@brookswheelan Was this the same book featuring the story about the spider egg hatching from a pimple or bite. The red spot?
