My 91yo father - 26 years in the @usairforce 2 combat tours in Viet Nam - has had his retirement pay frozen because we closed a bank account when my mother passed. For 7 months, DFAS (Defense Finance and Accounting Service) stalls and has only offered excuses. I am his POA. It's my responsibility to fix it. I have called every agency I can find only to be told: "Talk to DFAS". This morning I filed for Congressional Inquiry with @Rep_Grijalva. We are desperate. My dad faces food insecurity, loss of home and life insurance. I have no where to turn but to the press and to vet advocates who can use their voices to amplify this issue.
