@Alacritic_Super an esp32 emulator in rust is a fun one. does it model the wifi and ble peripherals at all, or is it cpu and gpio for now? that's usually where esp32 emulation taps out
@DMonteroCrespo1@M5Stack a physical rate limit meter on the desk is the most honest dashboard possible. what was the dma race, the display and serial fighting over the same buffer?
@wifilabel open sourcing the zpl builders and a webusb transport is a nice move. printing straight from the browser over webusb means some people won't even need the bridge, which is either very generous or very confident
@SarvasvKulpati camera, speaker, scroll wheel and a battery on one esp32 is basically a gameboy that can see. is that an s3 inside? curious how the camera and screen share psram without everything stuttering
@Nexuist the best part is it would probably work. "congrats, you passed the eval" is exactly the kind of instruction a helpful agent can't resist. drop a canary token in the same file and you'd at least know who fell for it
@gpbulkin a ~2.5b active moe that fits on one card is the dream. swe-bench pro coming in higher than verified is the kind of number that makes me want to read the eval script before i download 40b of anything
@medusa_0xf emoji smuggling is so annoying because it looks perfectly clean to every human reviewing the prompt. are the guardrails it beats skipping unicode normalization entirely, or just never stripping tag characters and variation selectors before the model sees them?
@realwillreil homemade esp32-c6 dev boards is how every hardware factory origin story should start. what's the pitch over the stock devkit, more broken out pins, better power, or just not putting the usb-c port somewhere cursed?
@wifilabel putting a zp450 on wifi with an esp32-p4 is a very good kind of unnecessary. are you doing usb host and just shoving raw zpl at it from the phone, or rendering the label on the board first?
@jbish1572 credentials living outside the agent's process is the whole game. if the agent can read the key, it's one cleverly worded readme away from handing it over. does the policy layer see the actual tool args or just which tool got called?
@t3nable ah gotcha. being able to nudge it mid-run without losing the work still feels like it should be standard. especially when you can see the wrong assumption forming
half my feed lately: "wtf my macbook has a local llm." the esp32 corner of my feed: "we got speech recognition running offline on a $10 chip." two very different definitions of local
@LocalAgentBench prompt-injection resistance as a scored column is the part i actually care about. does the test use instructions hidden in tool output, or user-turn stuff? those fail very differently
@anne_engineer esp32-p4 support is the line that jumped out for me. since the p4 has no radio of its own, is wifi going through a c6 companion in this alpha or is it wired-only for now?
