“You shall not make for yourself an idol” (Exodus 20:4) is about avoiding false objects that distract from God. When applied metaphorically to business, it cautions against symbols, short-term gains, or leaders as more important than the mission, values, or people you serve.

This Sunday there’s no data, just a reminder. The Bible teaches that our capacity to love originates in God Himself. He loved us first, demonstrated that in Christ, and enables us to love through the Holy Spirit. Human love is a reflection and overflow of His love at work in us.

It’s not about hustle culture. Hard work is a key ingredient, but so is rest, faith, and trust in God. The Bible shows rest as: 1.A rhythm of life (Sabbath). 2.A sign of trust in God’s provision. 3.A gift of spiritual rest in Christ. 4.A promise of eternal rest with God.

I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but your need for precision is holding you back… *Excludes surgeons, nuclear engineers, bakers, and a handful of other careers.
