Yeah, I use Astra with Blender MCP to write and run the modelling scripts, then review the result in Unity and ask for specific changes. With my ship, the upper deck still felt empty after a few passes, so I generated a more detailed reference from a Unity screenshot and had Astra build from that. We then fixed things like lanterns clipping into beams and windows not matching the deck slope, and checked that you could still walk around the new furniture. It’s a lot of back and forth. I’m aiming for a PS2 look and the ship still needs optimization, so I can’t really vouch for the retopo quality you’re after.

I think we are still far away from this, especially because the average person doesn’t know what he or she really wants. Currently, we are improving a lot almost every week, but the coherence and long-horizon thinking needed to create something massive like Kingdom Hearts is still not there, and we will need years to reach it
People really think that being able to generate a demo with AI is going to replace all the art direction / game design behind a full game. Once the gamers stop hating AI so much, we will see real artists and game dev start creating bigger experiences faster, but AI is a tool, you still need to know what to do
@iruletheworldmo The game studios are about to get real problem. By mid next year it will be possible to any anon with a few thousand dollars to build games as good as the best games we have now
