Congrats to South Suburban College freshmen duo of AJ Abrams & Samar Bures. Both were named to the NJCAA Region IV 1 st Team All Region. Both r nominated for All American status. HC John Pigatti has had a 1 st Team All Region player in every season (19) he has been at SSC.
The #3 seeded Bulldogs (22-10) defeated Madison College 91-86 in the NJCAA Region IV (Midwest District B ) semi-final SSC was led in scoring by Fr. G AJ Abrams career high 34 pts It will be HC John Pigatti's 18th Regional Championship game appearance during his 19 seasons at SSC

The #13 Bulldogs lost their 3rd home game of the season and dropped to 6-3 at home. Coach John Pigatti (whose home record now is 294-18 in 19 seasons at SSC) has never lost 3 games at home during a season. The Bulldogs fell to #23 Waubonsee 90-82. The loss drops SSC to 10-4
The #13 Bulldogs got back on the winning track in a top 25 match up vs. #25 Oakland CC 84-82. After losing two in a row the Bulldogs built an18-point second half lead and held on for the 2-point victory. SSC improved to 10-3 on the season. Oakland fell to 11-2. 
The #8 Bulldogs lose a tough road game in OT at Danville. They fall to 9-2 on the season. 4 players scored in double figures led by Frosh G Tyler Wooten’s 25 pts. Froshs Gds AJ Abrams/Samar Bures scored 18 pts Soph G Taurean Mickens scored 16 pts
