a new fun project of mine : mariokart 8 deluxe running natively on iOS !
@MarieSolace19 technically we could by using Vulkan instead of Metal
you can also use your iPhone (or any iPhone) as a controller for your Mac !
this also works on macOS ; local multiplayer support with controllers you can connect, haptics/vibrations, and tilt… !!
the game runs at 60fps and has multiplayer support (lan/wireless/online) ! this doesn't use an emulator or JIT : the switch's arm code runs directly on Apple Silicon with NVM graphics translated to Metal
the code is now out ! more info on how to build the ipa/app here : github.com/c22dev/muguet please note that you'll still need to obtain proper game files yourself to build and run it.

could you rebuild from the latest main ? a crash while driving with lots of pedestrians around was fixed recently, plus a memory leak and a streaming memory cap. if it still crashes, check Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data for a JetsamEvent or muguet log from that time and send it over
@b3ntneck maybe lower textures resolution if you want better performance overall but I strongly recommend using 15 pro +
