Compliance harassment under GST ?

No international comparison is provided by tax collectors for extending time for tax officers which could not be done between March 20, 2020 and March 31, 2020. Such longer extension leads to uncertainty. Appreciate that due to pandemic tax evaders shouldn’t go scout free. (3/4)
When tax payers and their advisors requested extension for filing tax return or audit report (and not for tax payment) by 30 to 60 days, tax collector rejected. Rejection was justified by providing comparison for such extensions in advanced countries. (2/4) @IncomeTaxIndia
