wise words from walton goggins: kotaku.com/fallout-tv-ser…
@carolynmichelle NCR are bandits Shady Sands deleted outta nowhere Brotherhood of Steel are now a christian-adjacent religious cult instead of technophobic monks Show took the Wild Wasteland perk Trees. I don't get why people who don't enjoy an IP come in to make it theirs. Makes me gatekeep
@carolynmichelle I can respect going in blind and not being influenced by the source material. Apparently Walton's character is the best part of the show (I've only watched the first episode).
@carolynmichelle It's a thing others have said more in the production side and let me say, the people actually editing writing and directing id hope are into it because the projects where those workers actively avoid things sure seem to suck way hard unlike labor of love to original like OPLA.
@carolynmichelle How come you guys spout this nonsense but then are hypocrites when it comes to those favorable to you? It's okay to bastardize this but you piss and wail when one race says something about another? or a straight person says something about lgbtq? Hypocrites.
@carolynmichelle BLIND PLAYTHOUGH CONFIRMED!
@carolynmichelle In the context of a team full of people that know the source material this totally makes sense and I respect that. Conversely, there seemed to be zero people working on Halo who played those games or gave a shit about them 😭
@carolynmichelle Him explicitly saying that there is value in having a balance of both vs just one or the other is so refreshing
@carolynmichelle Kotaku and wise words in the same phrase? Thanks no thanks.
@carolynmichelle Wish there were more people who weren’t fallout fans involved. I know I’m bias cause I can’t stand fallout 4, but all the fallout stuff took me so out of it. Mostly how bad a lot of it looked and just the sense of humour and the writing not being for me. M
