@ColinMartel91 @scottyshog Don’t you know these new varieties are all 5-10% better than every previous one. We’re at 2000% and climbing

@ColinMartel91 @jdalefriesen Available in your soil. Short term little to no negative to cutting some. Environment conditions may have a bigger effect. Long term if there’s no reserve for when environment is favourable you may loose out on top end yield. Need to find an affordable balance.

@ColinMartel91 @jdalefriesen I did a study for canola growers. 80% 100% 120% of reg rates repeated across whole 1/4. Very little difference overall. We expanded study and soil tested before and after on each strip. My takeaway was: fertility on each year may not make a huge difference depending on what’s:

@WestfallCharlie @RoncerayDan Hand sampled at 24% tonight. So 26% sounds close.

@BaldurBarons Think there was opportunity to do specialty crops to carry individual ipi. I don’t love area average ipi. When your risk area has very good areas you have to be in those areas to get built way up. My problem is the individual ipi crops do not have hail damage adjustments

@rhofford @TerryHyra @BaldurBarons 9620 is 500hp same 12L. Not sure you can go that far with 9400 but 450 be no problem. Was running a 60’ 7.5” space drill 350 tank and 2000 gal nh3 tank was no problem with a 440stx for a few years. Openers may be the limiting if they pull harder than other ones.
