@PokeHEX5555 I like to think of myself as the biggest investor of all time, nothing like spending time and getting time back. Infinite returns baby

TCG people will deadass look at you and basically say: “Yeah, I wish that card I like was more expensive.” You don’t enjoy the card then, you enjoy money. Plenty of other places to “see money go up”, and arguably more enjoyable than TCGs.

@keg_lio @YoJurmy If your enjoyment is tied to the monetary value you get back out of your hobbies instead of actual enjoyment. Probably in the wrong hobby

He’s actually right, we have seen crazy gains over the past 2 years in Pokemon and collectibles, it was basically as easy as buying at a percentage and make money because things were going up. I think a lot of these businesses that opened up over the past few years thrive on scarcity. Once things are more stable and they have to rely on a normal retail model of churning product, it will be hard

@resellingnews Anyone that has a problem with this, I would question their motives.

@kirstyn Ikr, its why I think Target’s new rule of not selling to scalpers could be easy to enforce

@CardGameNomad I know that by giving them attention it can help them but also at the same time, having someone that criticizes them and calls them out in the comments. There is a chance someone sees my reply and resonates with it and turns to our side 😎

They commented then blocked me so I couldn’t reply to his last comment. Coward tactics if you ask me. I think I hit him too close to home, fragile egos all around here

Repeat after me everyone. Good cards can be cheap and it’s ok, not everything has to be expensive

@Drempts Want expensive stuff? Go collect cars and watches. But oh wait, you can’t afford them 😭 so you develop this superiority complex over cardboard. Keep that mentality and you will go nowhere

@ThatNerdMert No one is going to bat an eye if your “master” set doesn’t have the RGB Mews because they are expensive, hard to pull and ugly. Anyone saying otherwise just wants to force demand for it
