Playing more with the #K8s cluster I created from scratch. Manually set up storage class, persistent volumes and volume claims, then added services/deployments for MySQL and WordPress. Might look at controllers for a multi-pod stateful database and multi-tier apps next. #devops

Had an enjoyable and interesting time building an ARM64 #Kubernetes cluster from scratch, using guidance from @kelseyhightower's #KubernetesTheHardWay. It's beneficial to gain a deeper understanding of cluster construction/operation than one gets from EKS etc. #devops #sysops

Jenkins or GitHub Actions? Need to sort proper CI/CD for customer. Used Jenkins in the past for other clients, but I think it's time to explore GitHub Actions. Customer already making heavy use of GitHub so probably more natural (and less costly) option. #devops #cicd

With Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4, it really feels like they deliberately set out to make these tools as off-puttingly incomprehensible and inhospitable as they possibly could. Still, I'm battling away and slowly getting somewhere nevertheless.
