Rory won the Hero Dubai which was about half the strength of The American Express field and Fleetwood won the Dubai Invitational which was about 1/3 the field strength of The Sony Open… they have each played 5 times on The PGA Tour, and in the strongest fields, so trying to compare who they will compete against at The Masters as best I can. I don’t ignore those wins, but statistically I’m trying to compare apples to apples.

@chambleebrandel But you've only used stats from the PGA Tour to measure how 'poorly' they are playing. And, sorry, but the world rankings are so skewed at the moment that, in my opinion, SOF does not mean what it did
@chambleebrandel I think the Dubai courses are bigger factors than fields in Rory’s case. He got away with quite a lot over those two weeks. Shots he’d never get away with on the courses we saw so far in the states. He was 2nd and 1st and absolutely no where near the top of his game
