A great head shot tells a story about you. It's more than a photo... it invites the viewer in. No gimmicks are necessary.
Email makes it quick & easy to send auditions (ex: Breakdown Express). Do not use friends to give you feedback. They are not impartial.
How do you know your child has the "it" factor to be an actor? needs to meet strangers well and & not be shy; needs to maintain eye contact

In the film industry, if you're early you're on time, if you're on time, you are late.
What types are in demand in casting? Women in their 40's and 50's with natural graying hair and physically fit. Ex: look at TV commercials
Being discovered as a new talent sensation can be thrilling. It can also come at a price. Our prayers are with Susan Boyle.
"Tomorrow the sun will rise & we don't know what the tide will bring in." Tom Hanks, CASTAWAY
A few rare people are natural born actors, everyone else can learn the craft. It takes training to have a private moment in public.
Casting Directors hire people to work. Agents represent people looking for work. It is 2 entirely different jobs.
It's not about acting, it's about acting natural.Casting Directors routinely look for real not "reel" people Ex: nurses,lawyers,police...
Casting for a feature film in the Atlanta area. Looking for extras. Tweet if you're local and want to work in the film!
