No hate for the person who made this. I am all for people trying to innovate. With that said, If I showed up to an interview and the company wanted me to interview with an AI tool, I would simply close the window. Nothing feels more dehumanizing than being shown that I am not worth any of the company's time than to spend my interview trying to get the AI tool to record my answers to then have someone in HR inevitably skim the responses the same way they skim resumes. If anything, I feel like this is the kind of tool that makes it harder for people to get jobs instead of interviewers finding great candidates. What do you think?

@DThompsonDev If the AI is unbiased (I know, I know…) then I prefer the AI. Humans skim and go for heuristic shortcuts like “went to Stanford, already worked at a FAANG” precisely because they have limited attention. An AI will always give you its full attention.
@chiaralalalah @DThompsonDev Garbage in, garbage out. These tools are trained on human hiring decisions and ultimately it’s humans that will make the final call. It will not be unbiased. In fact, it may even exaggerate bias.
@chiaralalalah @DThompsonDev I think right now the problem will be less whether the AI is biased or not and more that the AI will be way too stupid and narrowly on-rails for this. Also, it's probably just an LLM hooked onto a virtual avatar, so it could hallucinate information you ask, derail on tangents...
@chiaralalalah But how good is the attention if it isn't a decision maker but an information passer to the same person that will not pay attention? All it does is actually help in a reduction of the already reduced attention.
@chiaralalalah @DThompsonDev “If AI is unbiased” Too lame, not a chance.
@chiaralalalah @DThompsonDev The BBC recently posted an article how AI screened out all the best candidates for a job. Also check out the lawsuit Air Canada is facing because of AI. I like the concept, but we are a long way off
@chiaralalalah @DThompsonDev You could also say, if the human is unbiased (I know, I know…) then I prefer the human. Just granting the non bias doesn’t really mean anything because you could grant it to either.
@chiaralalalah @DThompsonDev “Unbiased” about what? Do you think the AI is making the hiring decision?
