@balupuppy @ChicagoParks Yeah part of the problem along so much of #ChiLFT is that they'll drive with two tires off the trail, and all that achieves is digging a rut next to the trail while still blocking most of the trail anyway. And that rut then presents a hazard & becomes a mudpit when it rains.

I really wish @ChicagoParks District actually gave a shit about the parks. The Bryn Mawr connection to #ChiLFT has been a shitpile since the week of Christmas, if not longer.

Parts of the lakefront trail have salt, but it is still largely unsalted and very icy between 57th and 35th. I saw a salt truck so I'm hoping the whole thing gets treated today. 47th Street hill is all ice. #chilft

Chicago, do not go outside tonight if you can help it! Assume all surfaces are coated with ice unless you see salt. Fell twice on the lakefront trail, which is extremely frozen. #bikechi #chilft
