“trans women benefit from their male upbringing” in 6th grade i would hold my friend’s hand while she cried because of how awfully the other boys treated her. she didn’t even know she was trans until years later. manhood is traumatizing for the women forced to attempt it.

@chickadi i do not know what 'male' upbringing is supposed to mean, i was brought up by my mother and had a predominantly female circle because i naturally shyed away from male circles starting high school, the only 'male' upbringing i know is being forced to shave my long curly hair by
@chickadi When I was a kid I could never have male friendships because I wasn't male but I could also never have female friendships because I was male. I usually always just had one friend who I liked and circled around for most of my childhood until I got better at masking.
@chickadi i always say, the punishment for don't your assigned gender "wrong" is always gonna be far greater than just being assigned the "worse" option like yeah being a cis girl sucks, but being ME sucked way MORE . & it's tenfold for tgirls bc they're supposed to have the "good" option
@chickadi This hit close to home, teared up reading this but on the positive side I wanted to say you have such a kind heart, knowing you exist gives me hope that others will follow your example you were a guardian angel for your friend and I'm sure many other women thank you 🫶
