Ball carrying: corner to corner Players take it in turns, with the ball carrier looking to carry through the gates in the opposite corner. If the defender wins possession they can counter towards the opposite corner in a 1v1 or create a 2v1 with their additional teammate.

SUP: overload til success Starting with a 3v1 between the half way and the 25, building into a 3v2 on goal. The drill is played plays until there is an attempt on goal, if either defensive units wins possession clear it to the previous line who then refeeds the attackers.

Goalscoring: Layers through Pattern to goal using staggered height to play through. The starting players overlap the inside players before receiving the ball to take a shot on goal, whichever player doesn't shoot is then be fed by the coach and must play a first time "rebound".

SSG: rest and reset Teams split across 2 pitches, the ball can move between pitches, but players can't, coach constantly refeeds the ball. When the ball is on the opposite pitch, 'resting' teams must vacate their attacking third and must reset in the other 2/3 of the pitch.

SSG: Build the overload Even sided teams inside the playing area with 4 outside jokers. Teams look to build a numerical advantage by unlocking the outside players, at least 1 pass must be made inside the playing area before each joker can be released. Release all 4 jokers to win.

Rondo: break quickly Play starts with a team controlling possession in an overload, 5-8 passes wins a point. Chasing players to win possession and transition quickly into a counter attack, one (or more) defenders jump back.

SSG: connecting 2v1s Pitch is divided into 3 zones, with waiting att/def. The team in possession can pass/carry through the zones, exploiting their 2v1s to get to the other side before attacking goal. When the defending team turnover possession they can immediately attack goal.

Defending: Protect the head Def set away the attackers for a 1v1 then look to deny entry into the head of the circle, winning points for forcing the attackers wide. Play builds into a 2v2, the 2nd att/def can't engage in play until they leave and re-enter via the circle shoulder

Rondo: Pressure quick Two teams, each with a "home" space to keep possesion of the ball. Teams send 2 players into the opposition's space to win possesion and carry out of the box. First pair to turnover possesion wins a point, with another pair from each team replacing them.

Goalscoring: receive and roll Pattern on goal before getting a shot off at the GK. Starting with a backwards pass that switched wide, the two players outside look to lead/receive before dropping off the ball and rolling forward to receive again.

SUP: help side Starting with a bounce pass before transfering wide, the receiver sets off an attacking overload. After breakdown, 1 att stays in the circle, 1 leaves and the last runs round a cone on the opposite side of the pitch before re-joining the attack from the help side

SSG: turnover to overload Pitch split into attacking/defending areas, divided by a zone for the jokers. Teams attack/defend using the jokers as outside support, if the defending team turnover possesion and connect with a joker, the joker can then be used as an overload.

P+F into a striking drill: dummy leads Continued from yesterday's pass and follow; using leads to create pockets of space in behind for team mates to exploit. Also, encouraging wide players to come across the blindside of the defenders vision.
