Be careful who you give personal information to. I was planning on participating in a hackathon today and it was only after sending my resume and personal information did I realize that the event is illegitimate.
Learning how to code while working full time has been absolutely exhausting. Does anyone have any tips for retaining focus while studying?
There needs to be more emphasis on mental health & psychology in tech. Given the competition and mental resilience it takes to succeed, maintaining a sense of community and positive focus is absolutely crucial.
Have any self-taught iOS developers landed a job in the past year? Success stories seem to be becoming rarer.

We all have the same 24 hours in a day. 24 hrs - 8 hrs sleeping - 3 hrs eating - 9 hrs day job = 4 hrs to do whatever you want 4 HOURS! That's eight 30 min blocks. If you have big goals or dreams in life, you have to MAKE time for what's important to you

App #7, Vinyl Vision, has been approved for the visionOS App Store! The app is a native visionOS Discogs client for viewing your record collection. A lot more to come with this one!
@chrisendress_io Yeah there’s books that outline how to make more of your time. Hyper focus is a good example. Get a study timer. Little and often. Aim to learn 1% daily is better that’s larger chunks but less often.
@chrisendress_io I have almost the same situation as yours. I'm not sure you have a family to take care or. I have. I learn and do coding outside work and family time. As long as time is well used, it's still a lot available for enjoying learning and coding.
