@mrbillstunes @mrbillstunes I think everyone is looking for a magic button they push at the end of the process to achieve a great sounding mix. This is an oversimplification of a complex process.

Came to add one more thing: I think the keyword here is indistinguishable. Ethics and morals could be considered null (not a factor) if the use is unaware of the origins of the source material. What I mean is that I can sit here and say I will not use AI in my music, and then unknowingly download and use AI generated samples in my music. Conversely, it is possible that the listener will not know if AI was used in any of the processes/parts of an original song. In the end I think this question will not matter so much. The end product will. The human spirit will endure.

Hard to say. One way I think of it is that any form of AI is contamination (in this case), and therefore saps the spirit out of the human element. The other way I think of it is that something like iZotope RX uses AI and so the point is that various plugins that are widely used are already using AI to assist them. Of course it’s a bit different in the case you are describing because you are mentioning loops/samples. I don’t have enough information to give a sound argument one way or the other, but I can’t help but try and stay away from anything that uses AI for the sake of purity. I’m not saying AI is wrong here. I am conflicted. Where is the line drawn? What about a tool like @GRIMES_V1? It’s very cool but I am hesitant in using it in original music at the moment. I’m open for discussion. These are my thoughts.

@DragstonDev Very cool orchestral covers. Which synths/plugins/samples do you use?

@ishotasegod @Grimezsz Problem solved. Idk what was going on but I think after I reset my pc it started working? — could’ve been that or just using a different Wi-Fi network not sure but it’s working.

@ishotasegod @Grimezsz The transformer on elftech is currently not working for me. — it worked once about a few days ago now it says something went wrong with that same file or other files. Hopefully there can be a solution soon

@GRIMES_V1 Fighting is dumb. Not even morally but mathematically. — I understand self protection is necessary in rare cases. But fighting is dumb.

@Grimezsz Yes the file size was under 50MB as well. I’ve tried 6 sec files too. Neither m4a nor mp3 are working for me. I retried the first file again that did work for me the first time (m4a) to no avail.
