People always talk about how brave and how hard it is to be trans but like 95% of the things that make me frustrated are paperwork-related. Prior-authorizations, unnecessary blood work, the cost of changing your fucking name…the steps involved. The cost of medicine…

HB 1570 was just passed through both chambers in the Arkansas legislature, banning trans youth from accessing health care and health insurance coverage that we deserve and need. Our rights and lives are under attack. Governor Hutchinson must veto this bill.

As someone who comes from one of those working class families who switched party loyalties in the Regan era, Rush Limbaugh did more harm to this world than good. I hope he gets the same amount of empathy he gave to the people he shared the world with.
