The narcissist's asymmetrical definitions of respect: a) Respect for them means unquestioning obedience. b) Respect for you means being treated with basic human decency. The statement "If you don't respect me (a), I won't respect you (b)" implies that failing to obey without question, or expressing disagreement, will be met with by punishment by being treated inhumanely -- and you'll "deserve" it.

@mimicsnmusings I mean sometimes you want to use the eldritch equivalent of prestidigitation but there isn't one. Closest you got is thaumaturgy but it's not on the warlock spell list.

@meindertsmajens @jarredsumner A lot of large companies only do backwards compatible DB migrations, complete with dual writes to old and new fields or tables, etc. It's a viable strategy, just takes discipline to see all the steps of the migration through

@BlizzardCS My server just disappeared with no notification. I checked my email, and the news section of the launcher. I never got notified of the server consolidation. Two weeks to transfer them to a server in another region is unacceptable as I can't ever transfer them back to my region.

@davidwalshblog I feel like if your code review queue gets that big you need a root cause analysis and fix the core issues. You may have too large of a team and need to split into separate teams or sub teams. You may not have wip limits and have devs working on too many things at once. Etc.
