Macklemore says Ed Sheeran and his team decided to remove him from tour due to his comments in support of Palestine, after Kraft Group rallied stadium owners and gave Ed an ultimatum: “[Ed] told me that the words ‘Free Palestine’ and the image of the Palestinian flag were hurtful to a lot of people he spoke with. I told him that if those words were more offensive than tens of thousands of Palestinian children being killed by Israel, then there was a fundamental disconnect between where those people stood and where I stood. But he couldn't get past his public facing, ‘I don't take sides.’”

Macklemore has been dropped from the rest of Ed Sheeran’s tour following his onstage ‘Free Palestine’ statements, Rolling Stone reports. “As the concert promoter for Ed Sheeran’s U.S. Loop Tour, we have been notified by venues on the upcoming U.S. tour dates that they will not allow a concert to take place with Macklemore on the lineup, which would result in the cancellation of the tour and impact hundreds of thousands of fans. After discussions with stakeholders, Macklemore will not be performing on the remaining support dates.” 🔗: rollingstone.com/music/music-ne…

@RLRaymond1 @xjosef69 @Variety We’re not okay with it we just think that shitty comments disguised at “genuine concern” is going to make her get help any quicker. What happens when she comes back and she is not that target weight. Are we going to be “genuinely concerned” and encouraging her to keep pushing?

@alphaomega1389 @xjosef69 @Variety 25-30% of yall were GENUINELY CONCERNED. The rest were just looking for attention people were doing way more than just asking fucking questions. Shameful.

@xBobbochu @ur_inmyhead @Variety She has an inner circle and a family. We don’t know what is happening on a day to day basis and you don’t just eat and gain weight overnight it takes time. Thats what half of her fans were saying but everyone else was to busy calling then enablers.

@xBobbochu @ur_inmyhead @Variety There is a clear difference between 1-2 people talking a harsher approach to trying to help and thousands of people. Not for nothing that mv looks like it was recorded closer to when she filmed ihtylm.
