@CaseyTaylor520 @BDAHT Also important: what is our opponent’s PPP coming the other way off of our missed vs made shots? Off of turnovers/missed contested shots at the rim? That extra 12% might be worth more than we think.

@CaseyTaylor520 @BDAHT Within the 33% and 45% are typically several poorly conceived 3PAs & mid attempts. %’s skyrocket when we’re open, in our rhythm & comfort zone. Idea isn’t to live on mid but to subtract the shots dragging us to 33% & find an *open* look, bc this is a possession by possession game

@long_story_long @BDAHT Have a guy take 50 threes double teamed and then 50 midrange jumpers with no defender and let me know which shot he scores more points on.

@ASG15_ @BDAHT This might be a good rule to coach & play by if every possession offered the same quality of shot choices.

@CaseyTaylor520 @BDAHT Defenses try taking away layups & 3s (everyone else has access to Excel too). Good midrange is better than forcing up bad 3s or over-penetrating & turning the ball over. Problem is, no one can score in the midrange anymore bc they’re told it’s a bad shot. Self-fulfilling prophecy

@Cordemption24 @TheCoinTos37089 Wider variety of play style in CBB/FB on a team level and individually. Pros more consistently competitive, but the best college games are the best watch. Also impossible for pros to produce upsets like college. Better atmospheres/tradition. Ppl often have academic/regional ties.
