The smiley face was invented in 1963. Harvey Ball got paid $45 for it and never trademarked it. Best $45 ever spent, or the worst business decision in history? It's #WorldSmileDay. Argue below.

is AI the new coding language?
i have a 9-5. two weeks of evenings, i shipped 10 daily puzzle games without opening a code editor. i describe, my AI builds, i test on my phone.
i feel like i code in english now. taste is still human though.
what should i build next?
@playchaingame Love this. Share grids are the best growth mechanic a daily game has, every player becomes a little billboard. Putting it right in the top bar is smart too, less friction means more shares.
@BLOODYJAYDEN@DarkCloudVA Congrats on getting this far! One thing that helped us a ton: playtest with strangers, not friends. Friends are kind, strangers show you exactly where the tutorial breaks. Good luck with Next Fest, rooting for Mr. Hangman!
11k posts about a rocket launch today. ours is a quieter kind of launch: 10 games. 10 fresh puzzles every morning. zero accounts, zero downloads.

Building codevu, a daily games site, in public. Genuine question for the puzzle people: what actually brings you back every day? The streak, the shareable score, or just the three minutes of fun? Trying to figure out what matters before I build more.
@yongfook Where does AI-built for non-AI people land on this? Building with AI but for an audience that never wants to hear the word agent. Feels like a third rail between the weights.
