Hacktoberfest seems like a great way to have some fun while introducing yourself to open source software contributions. Any thoughts on why a dev should or shouldn't participate in it?

Have you ever tried using your computer without using your mouse at all? I'd recommend giving it a shot, after a while it feels fast and natural. 💡Undoubtedly you'll have to look up some shortcuts, but in the end it feels nice to not have to reach for the mouse too often 😉

💡 Correct me if I'm wrong... But when you're required to support multiple languages for the first time as a developer it fundamentally changes how you think about your sites moving forward.

When you have long list of things you should do with your day but don't know where to start... Maybe try this timeless strategy. Write 'em down ✏️ Ask why you should do each item❔ Sort by YOUR perceived value ↕️ Get to work on highest value first 🦾

Accomplishing your goals is not easy. Sometimes you have to push yourself past your own perceived limitations to become something better. I want to get comfortable recording and publishing to YouTube. So I pushed through my laziness, stayed up late, and published my 3rd video ✅
