the tech industry is fucking BRUTAL 😭 i wrote an article about my 1st year in the tech industry so far (not pretty at all) i also talk about why ive been MIA, what ive been through, & the lessons ive learned so far check it out! yurilee.hashnode.dev/an-update-on-m…
tldr; - getting laid off - got rejected at every interview - there is such thing as "not knowing enough to get a job" - what ive learned from this experience - what im currently doing
@codingyuri According to you, you have never even finished a project, except that one time "we held you accountable" Have you got more experience doing projects on your own? Can you share a github profile? You started in 2021, it has been a few years mow since you started your journey.
@codingyuri Stories like this are so powerful! A job in the tech industry is not guaranteed, and more people need to understand this. Thank you for being honest about your experiences! I pray that you get your big break soon!!
@codingyuri Great write up! Tech is definitely an employer’s market rn, so I am sure your story will resonate with a lot of folks. Glad to see you found something!
@codingyuri thank you for sharing this and I'm sorry it's been so sucky! I've also been out of it for the last few months and struggling to get any kind of momentum going, it's like the hill gets steeper every time I try to start up again.
@codingyuri Great info. Thanks so much for sharing.
@codingyuri Really great write up, thank you for sharing! Rejected interview after rejected interview hurts like no other
@codingyuri Lovely read Yuri!! Waiting to see you do awesome things in the coming months 😊
@codingyuri It's really a tough journey, happy that you're learning and growing in this space!
@codingyuri Thanks for sharing it .A good reminder for many devs !
@codingyuri Hey yuri. I just wanted to let you know that you have a supporter in me wishing you well. I look forward to seeing you overcome this shit.
@codingyuri All the best in this new phase Yuri.
@codingyuri If i have to add something people who believe in learning curve and learn as they work are not needed in present tech industry Because i have some similar experience.even if i am good with the basics they always want more.
