The moment I asked Jordan Peterson how his wife Tammy's new Catholic faith has affected them as a couple.
@colmflynnire All I want is to love Our Lord so fully that it makes my husband THIS happy. 😭
@colmflynnire The only time a man can shed a tear in public is at a funeral. This man cries too much.
@colmflynnire @EvaVlaar He needs to get a grip and give the tears malarkey a break.
@colmflynnire Beautiful. He’s right. There is no greater joy than watching someone you love become the best version of themself.
@colmflynnire I love @jordanbpeterson because he is unashamedly authentic. This video perfectly encapsulates everything that makes him who he is. Thank you for conducting this interview. You’ve earned a follower.
I remember a old podcast episode of Jordan’s and him talking to a Christian friend who asked him why he hadn’t accepted Jesus as Lord and Jordan broke down crying about the enormity of what they meant to truly follow Christ. It was one of the most real things ever said. Most Christians have a weak faith and that is what the church is for, to protect His sheep. Peterson strikes me as a CS Lewis type who is far more intelligent than most of us could comprehend and thus struggles with concepts of the divine, eternity, resurrection, etc at a profound level. For intellectuals the biggest hurdle is often letting go of the idea that you can understand everything and surrendering to God. It’s a daily struggle for myself. Praying for Jordan. His lectures reignited a fire for a deeper understanding of God’s word in my own life.
