I once had a teacher tell me she thought I wasn’t a good dancer because I danced pedestrian and I’ve never had a greater insult told to me (dance or non-dance related) in my entire life Sometimes it still haunts me and takes me awhile to get over it

I’ve had to remove both of my big toenails this year in June and December because of trauma to the nail bed most likely due to being on pointe I haven’t been on pointe in two years??? Feet are weird

Every time I’m with my Mom and a song I had choreography taught to me comes on I tell her and she gets annoyed but honestly Mom you didn’t pay thousands of dollars for me to not remember that did you????

Cross training is one of the best things you can do for yourself If you have the time take a Pilates class, swim, go on the eliptical, keep moving in other ways besides the same dance moves
