A kindergarten teacher I know received hundreds of dollars in gift cards, bracelets, books and flowers from her students’ parents at the end of year. This high school teacher got nothing. Not complaining but does teacher appreciation just fade out as kids get older?

I am creating some awards for our school awards ceremony. I wanted to give a student an award for Best Math Debater. Then I read it aloud quickly, and realized that is probably not the best title for a middle school award! 🤦‍♀️ #MTBoS
