Security best practice is to configure min-release-age to avoid malicious upgrades, but with zero-days you're kinda between a rock and a hard place. There's a real risk of a fake zero-day that actually convinces everyone to install malware.
@log4j Can you install a new trusted certificate so you can MITM its requests and see what it's actually sending?
Important to remember that cybersecurity strongly favors the defender. It's easier to encrypt than break encryption. It's easier to another layer in your Swiss cheese security model than to break that layer. Lots of places have basically exploited this imbalance to cut their security budgets. AI temporarily shifts that balance and weak systems are broken. But the defender's advantage remains.

The cheapest inference provider can heavily depend on whether your workload leans cache-heavy, input-heavy, or output-heavy.
If you’re a founder, stop scrolling and watch this. American entrepreneur @saylor breaks down exactly what builders should be focused on right now at @paraficapital Investor Day. “Is it a toaster that never burns your toast?” Best 5 minutes you’ll spend today.
@manoj033 @dgt10011 @saylor @paraficapital Most educational dinner of my life
Last week at the @paraficapital Investor Day, I had the opportunity to share some of the technology and AI infrastructure we're building across the firm. It was an honor to present at The Times Center on the same agenda as legendary investors and founders like Henry Kravis and Michael Saylor! Our goal as an engineering team is simple: multiply what ParaFi can accomplish as a firm. We're hiring.
New-chain launches are far from over, but the playbook is changing. Robinhood Chain crossed $10 billion of DEX volume in 22 days, showing how an established consumer platform can bootstrap liquidity and activity far faster than a standalone network building distribution from scratch. More than 80% of early DEX volume was memecoin-driven, but roughly $70 million of tokenized real-world assets and more than $400 million of stablecoins point to a broader financial stack taking shape. Building on the success of chain integrations by Coinbase and Telegram, Robinhood may be the turning point where app-owned chains become a repeatable vertical integration strategy across distribution, trading, settlement, and economics.
