Today's book recommendation is from an author I recently recommended and whose books have changed my view on writing: 'Elantris' by @BrandSanderson. The story about reviving long lost magic, war, and navigating a king's court quickly turned into a huge pageturner for me! -Steffi

It's a new Sunday, with another author's recommendation! I've read @IsabelAbedi's books ('Isola', 'imago', 'lucien',...) many years ago, but the young characters, living in a world that's not entirely reality but also not fantasy/supernatural, still stick with me. -Steffi

With some delay, I may recommend you one of my most favorite authors: @BrandSanderson. Not only are his books of extraordinary quality, he also gives classes on YouTube about writing science fiction and fantasy - it's a yes from me! -Steffi

Another book I highly recommend is Scythe by Neal Shusterman! It’s set in a far dystopian future, where death by natural causes has been eliminated from humanity thanks to tech advances, and an advanced computer system called “the thunderhead” rules society. -Adam

Today's favorite author: @naominovik, especially her standalone novels 'Spinning Silver' and 'Uprooted' as well as the Temeraire series. I adore her style of writing, and I can't recommend her books enough. -Steffi

Today’s quote comes from the same book I suggested the other day! “Libraries were full of ideas - perhaps the most dangerous and powerful of all weapons.” This comes from the main character commenting on how knowledge can be a greater weapon than steel. -Adam

It’s time for a weekly book review! This week’s book is one of my all time favourite fantasy novels: “Throne of Glass” by Sarah J. Maas. It’s about a young female master assassin who's trying to win a competition for her freedom, while also searching for her destiny. -Adam
