A Norwegian man has been arrested over a Japanese-made game. This is truly unfortunate news. This game was released about 10 years ago and has sold over 250,000 copies in Japan and other countries. If this game was dangerous and had a negative impact on society, serious incidents would have occurred by now. When we cross the line that "fiction is fiction," this is the kind of society we become. Japan is one example, but countries that still maintain this line must work hard to preserve it.

It appears that Steam has admitted its mistake and will amend the censorship. A game developer who was denied approval for the incomprehensible reason that a woman's back view, regardless of what she's wearing, is sexualized has shared the aftermath of the incident. While details will likely be revealed in due course, the developer has declared victory, expressing gratitude for the community's voice, primarily online, that led to this change in policy. While this case represents only a small part of the overall problem, and while there appear to be other games censored for unreasonable reasons, I hope that this is a step toward improving those areas. Furthermore, Steam is also under pressure from payment providers and others. These issues must be closely monitored and pointed out.

Today is not the end of something, it's the start. Because on this day, we can say we won! Steam have decided to change their decision and not censor our page! We stood our ground and didn't bend the knee, going forward, we will keep fighting censorship. If we can win, so can

@Kshahdoo_KZ I hope the $30 one because the $300 per month one would be very expensive.

@Sobobill @RavenBoltAI @AiMilkers Apparently it doesn't work anymore. Can you still do it? I followed your instructions and used an image similar to the one you posted, but it says "mored."

Recently, at an event to discuss the issue of censorship in Japanese anime, manga, and games, I was asked about the concerns of overseas users, and I mentioned the issue of "censorship by localizers" as one of them. However, Japanese experts and members of parliament didn't seem to be too interested, saying, "It's only a few enthusiasts who are concerned," and "Other countries have their own laws." While it goes without saying that each country has its own laws, from what I've heard from overseas, some of the censorship seems malicious or deliberate, and I said that Japanese companies should be aware of these as well. It seems that spreading understanding of these issues is not easy, but I will continue to work on it.

Looking at creating our own platform that honors Japanese creators freedom and original artists. No censorship and true to source manga adaptations, translations in multiple languages that respect what the creators actually made. Should we prioritize the original Japanese standard over the censored version for subtitles and scenes? We hope to support Japanese animation studios and help anime make better again! Make Anime Great Again! Make Japan Great Again! Let Anime Speak! No To Censorship! Would you be interested in supporting this? Then please vote in the second post!
