Like when you are travelling to Cochin, the port of entry would be mostly Delhi or Mumbai, have to do the whole immigration there, have to take the luggage and re do the check in process, have

Like when you are travelling to Cochin, the port of entry would be mostly Delhi or Mumbai, have to do the whole immigration there, have to take the luggage and re do the check in process, have to travel in flights like indigo or air India and not to mention the layover would be 6+ hours. The airport authorities and the board of directors (which also includes the CM of Kerala) who should be pitching these new routes are completely ignoring that option. They are only invested in routes to Middle East and South east Asia for some reason. European market is wide open and everyone is acting blind towards it

I am an NRI from USA. I am keen and curios about travelling through Addis Ababa with @flyethiopian when I am flying alone next time to Kerala. But problem would be most of the people will frown upon, when they say I am transiting through a third world nation like Ethiopia. So my family wouldn’t approve if I am travelling with them. But I am very much interested to ditch the middle eastern transit and maybe choose another transit destination. European layover is a good idea. Air France, KLM, Lufthansa, Virgin Atlantic, there are lot of options.
