Every launch opens with an auction. One price for everyone
first order or last. No owner, no pause, no mint.

Your coin has a picture now. It is not on chain, and here is exactly
who can change it.
The factory is immutable and takes three arguments: a name, a symbol,
an auction window. There is no field for an image, and there never
will be the contract is already deployed.
So metadata lives beside the chain, in the single server this app
runs. Writing to it requires a signature from the address the market
itself reports as its creator, read from the chain at the moment of
the request. Not a session, not a login, not a claim in the request
body:
recover(signature) == market.creator()
A stranger gets 403. A signature older than ten minutes gets 400. An
address that is not a market gets 404. Signing costs no gas and moves
nothing.
Everything else still goes straight from the contracts to your
browser. If that server disappeared tomorrow, prices, fills, balances
and trading would be unaffected coins would show their ticker
instead of a picture.
A picture should never be able to break a market.
200,000,000 coins never touch the curve. Here is what they are for,
and what is not built yet.
Supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 and split three ways at deployment:
200M into the opening auction, 600M onto the curve, 200M held for a
listing. That last block is not sold by the curve at any price a
test asserts the balance is still untouched after the curve has been
traded hard in both directions.
Crossing 60,000 USDG raised emits a Graduated event. It does not halt
trading, and that is deliberate: freezing a curve before a pool exists
would leave every holder with a token they cannot sell.
Which means the pool is the part that does not exist yet. Graduation
is recorded and announced on chain; nothing moves into a DEX, and
until that ships there is no external market and no Dexscreener page.
The curve keeps running in the meantime.
We would rather ship the auction correct and the listing missing than
ship both half-finished. It is what we are building next, and it gets
announced the same way contract address, on this account, with the
tests.
The curve's quote reserve is larger than the money actually in the
contract. That is deliberate, and it is the reason there is no gap.
At settlement the curve is seeded with 600,000,000 coins and a quote
reserve of committed × 3. The ratio between them is exactly
committed ÷ 200,000,000 — the number the book just cleared at. Not
an approximation. Measured on deployment: a difference of zero.
Seeding it with real quote instead would require three times what the
auction raised, which nobody has. So the reserve is virtual, and the
contract tracks the real balance separately, in its own variable.
Every payout is checked against that real balance before it leaves:
if (gross > quoteHeld) revert Insolvent();
The curve can quote a price it could not honour at infinite size. It
can never pay out money it does not hold. Two tests pin that: every
auction holder dumping at once, and a long run of trades where the
contract is asserted to never pay more than it holds.
Rounding on every division goes to the pool, not to the trader. A
round trip never comes out ahead.
That is the trade this design makes. Stated here rather than left for
someone to find in the bytecode.
The first order and the last order fill at the same price.
Cross opens every market with a uniform-price call auction. Orders
collect for a window the creator sets, one minute to twenty-four
hours. Nothing prints while it runs. When the clock reaches zero the
book crosses once and every filled order settles at a single number:
total committed divided by the supply on offer.
Being early buys you nothing. Being last costs you nothing. A bot
that lands in the first block pays what someone who showed up eleven
hours later pays.
The curve then opens at exactly that price, seeded with the ratio the
book cleared at, so there is no gap between the auction and the first
trade for anyone to take.
On @RobinhoodCrypto chain. One bridge from wherever you hold.
Soon.
