Just back from the Philippines. One of the most exciting digital asset markets in SEA right now, jumping to 4th globally in TRM Labs' Country Crypto Adoption Index. Their regulators get it. Collaborative, forward-thinking, focused on outcomes: consumer protection, innovation, growth. Rare combo. Met great people at the Department of Finance including Secretary Frederick Go, the SEC’s Chairman Francis Lim, and the BlockShoals team. Real conversations about where the industry is heading. Big one: the SEC's PhiliFintech Innovation Office just gave BlockShoals in-principle approval under StratBox. This is what good regulation looks like. Build pathways, not walls. Programs like that signal that the Philippines is serious. Confidence attracts capital. Capital funds innovation. Flywheel starts here. Bullish on the Philippines. And crypto - buying the dip. More soon. 🇵🇭

These North Korean hackers are advanced, creative and patient. I have seen/heard: 1. They pose as job candidates to try to get jobs in your company. This gives them a “foot in the door”. They especially like dev, security, finance positions. 2. They pose as employers and try to interview/offer your employees. During the interview, they will be a problem with Zoom and they will send your employee a link to an “update”, which contains virus that will takeover your employee’s device. Or they will give your employee a coding question and later send some “sample code”. 3. They pose as users and send you links in a Customer Support request. The linked page will have a virus to download of some kind. 4. They pay/bribe your employees, outsourced vendors for data access. Just a few months ago, a major India outsource service was hacked and leaked a major US exchange user data, resulting in user asset loss of more than $400m. The list goes on… To all crypto platforms, train your employees to not download files, and screen your candidates carefully. Stay SAFU. 🙏

If your home internet had a dashboard, you’d probably be shocked. All that idle bandwidth. All that wasted potential. Every second your connection sits unused, it’s leaking value But hey, don’t you worry because @hubdotxyz is flipping that reality on its head. They’re building

The best example of a protocol that shows hype ≠ value is @hubdotxyz Hub reminds me how much of the internet's power we waste every day. - Idle Wi-Fi - Standby Mac on a coffee table Unused bandwidth and computing power which could help AI understand the real world better. And this can solve everyday problems like: > Fetching real-time prices for a product page > Routing video segments to train agents > Acting as GPS but for AI I love how @hubdotxyz is solving this with no code setup. You just install a small app or let your device stay online. Suddenly now you’re part of making the wasted internet resource useful again. You can also earn IQ points by talking about Hub in creative ways in your content. For inspiration and ideas, use their medium articles (which is what I did here as well) Happy to be partnered with the legends of Hub 🤝
