The U16 and U19 basketball teams had an impressive display of shooting, defence, and team spirit in their wins against a very competitive Kinsale side. Impressive post play by Ben Harmon on the U16 team and Diarmuid Coffey on the U19 team helped seal the win.
Here is the weekly schedule for next week's extracurricular activities. A reminder that the school is closed on Monday the 29th.
From high ropes and ziplines to the famous water-based obstacle courses, laughter and splashes echoed across the lakes. Obviously, this was more than just a day of adrenaline - the trip was perfectly timed, allowing 4th years to get to know each other outside the classroom.
Our Third Year History class had an absolutely fascinating trip to Spike Island– "Ireland's Alcatraz"! <br>We spent the day tracing its incredible journey through time.
Yesterday, we were honoured to welcome the Lord Mayor of Cork Fergal Dennehy, who paid us a special visit. He even joined our traditional music group and played the guitar with them! A huge thank you for the wonderful memories.
The U19 basketball team beat Bantry in their season opener with a score of 97-33. They dominated offensively with all team members contributing to the score. A promising start for a promising team.
Last Friday 80 students and teachers walked from Lady's View to Muckross along the old Kenmare - Killarney route. While the stopped for lunch a few brave souls had swims in the lake. Fair play to Jerry O Brien coaches for navigating Molls Gap on the way to drop off

U14 Hurling Blitz<br>On Thursday, 11th November, our U14 hurlers wore the CSN jersey for the first time at a blitz in Páirc Uí Chaoimh. They took on Gaelcholáiste Mhuire A.G. and Christian Brothers College, representing the school excellently. The future looks bright.
U16 and U19 basketball team trials will be held this Wednesday after school from 1-2:30 on the outdoor courts. If interested in playing this year, please come Wednesday.

The CSN Trad group will meet for our first rehearsal of the year on Monday 1st Sept in Room 4A at 12.55. All students are welcome to join from 1st to 6th year. All instruments and abilities are catered for. Instruments can be left in the Music Room on Monday morning before class.
Congratulations to the Leaving Cert Class of 2025 on their outstanding results this year. Each student should be incredibly proud of their achievements. In total 13 students achieved over 600 points. A special mention goes to Kieran Sisk, who earned a perfect score with nine H1s

Tie towel Boys landed safely into Denver on Saturday evening where they will stay in Colorado State University campus for the next 12 days. Yesterday they went up the Rockies to the mountain campus were there spent a day on the high ropes and walking trails.
