Here’s a look at the overall CPI increases for provinces. Alberta is middle of the pack for yearly increase in July, but features a sizeable jump from June to July due in large part to energy costs and no rebates.
@cspotweet We need to go back to public utilities
@cspotweet Now to be fair I think you’re talking about the regulated rate option. If you’re on a power plan your rate didn’t actually increase at all. What has increased on my bill is all those stupid fees, taxes, and riders that dwarf the actual cost of the electricity.
@cspotweet Ah yes- the land of cheap oil and gas… but horrendous electricity costs…
@cspotweet Looked at my gas bill yesterday. $7 of actual usage and $6.49 of Carbon tax. Cool. 👍
@cspotweet @DBenson77 Nat Gasis near 10 year low should have gone down in a province using it for electricity!
@cspotweet Soared under Premier Smith (Not Kenney, Not Notley this is all on Smith!). This is her fault not Trudeau’s.
@cspotweet FYI there are many very revealing interviews with industry insiders on his YouTube page, and articles on his website. youtube.com/watch?v=nejUnW…
