Decided to make my own Hermes agent iOS app as all the ones I’ve found just don’t fit my preferences. Let me hear your thoughts? #hermes #agent #ios #app #ai

@OhHeyTerry @rootappofficial I see 🤔 though I’m still not a fan of them being funded by venture capital which from my experience (take with a grain of salt) has proven to not be very user friendly or privacy respecting

@BigfryTV @rootappofficial Exactly why I switched to fluxer.app temporarily while my team & I build our own with actually privacy respecting policies and aren’t being funded by venture capital firms for greedy profits.

@IroncladDev fluxer.app good policies, not hosted in the UK, not funded by venture capital firms and a good mission going forward with options for self hosting & federation as well!

@Mischief_ @rootappofficial Haven’t been a fan of root due to the fact that they are being funded by venture capital. Have you looked into fluxer.app per chance?

@Ahmad_x07 Let’s talk about how root is also funded by venture capital firms? Personally I’ve moved to fluxer.app temporarily while my team & I work towards building a privacy respecting alternative that isn’t ruled by venture capital firms.

@kiwitrashpanda @discord Baffles me that Discord has the audacity to ask for government IDs after a recent data breach. I’ve already been cancelling my nitro and moving all my servers over to fluxer.app temporarily while also working with a team to build a privacy respecting alternative

@spinelessaisha If you read more into those apps, one received funding from venture capital firms and the other operates its service in the UK which is where the age verification has all truly began. Try looking into. fluxer.app Sweden made, clear vision, clear non VC funded
