A single hail storm in Damon, Texas, destroys THOUSANDS of acres of solar panels. Is it really wise to make ourselves dependent on expensive energy infrastructure that can be rendered permanently useless by one night of bad weather?

The editors of the world's most prestigious medical journals are sounding the alarm, and nobody is listening. "We have peer reviewed, high impact editors in most of the journals that are the most high impact, saying that they don't believe what is being published in those journals is trustworthy anymore." "The BMJ, The Lancet, all of those editors have come out and said, we have a huge problem. We can't replicate this research and we actually don't even know who did the research." "Everywhere we've looked for corruption, we've found it." Emily Kaplan, co-founder of the Broken Science Initiative. @broken_science

Social Security is going bust in just 6 years. RINO in Congress are using that to push a $1.5 trillion slush fund to piss away on donors and activists.

To replace global fossil fuel consumption with solar would take 274 billion panels. The energy to mine, manufacture and install those panels translates to 96 billion barrels of oil, 374 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and 23 billion tons of coal. Then there's the fact that solar panels last only 15 to 20 years before needing replacing, meaning the cycle of mining, smelting and building repeats every generation. Even if 274 billion panels were built and installed, solar doesn't deliver 24-7 power. Massive backup systems, batteries, gas plants or other infrastructure would still be required, demanding billions more tons of material. You can't mine and manufacture your way out of the second law of thermodynamics. Solar is not a one-time build. It's an industrial treadmill: endless mining, endless rebuilding, endless waste -- all to chase an illusion of replacing the dense, affordable and reliable energy we already have.

Nuclear plants had one Level 4 event in 50 years and no environmental damage whatsoever. New York decommissioned three reactors over safety worries. They're pushing battery storage in the same neighborhoods. The comparison is brutal. Read the full article: wattsupwiththat.com/2026/06/01/wou…
